Salary £21,000 per annum [Paid Additional with On Call Duties]

The main responsibilities of the role are to:

Ensure the appropriate provision of care & the allocation of Support Workers for client group

Liaise with Social Services with regard to client group

Supervise & appraise all Support Workers in the relevant area

Visit, assess & review Customer needs to produce appropriate care plans in line with contractual requirements

Cover for Support Workers as & when required

Promotion of a professional image for MiHomecare in dealing with new care packages for Customers & commissioning authorities

Assist in day to day management of the local branch business & facilitate local service delivery

To succeed in this role, you'll be an experienced Support/Care Worker with up to a years' experience as a Field Care Supervisor, committed to delivering an excellent quality service. You'll have experience in risk assessment & mentoring or staff supervision. You'll also be able to plan and manage your own workload efficiently & effectively.


NVQ Level 2 in Health and social care or equivalent desired


Strong communication, both oral and written

Strong IT skills, using Microsoft Office, knowledge of People Planner desired

Ability to build strong working relationships both internally & externally

A good sense of humor

Reliable & flexible to the needs of the business

A team player & also able to work alone using your own initiative
